Minns du havet, abaayo?

With the exhibition Remember the ocean, abaayo? Malmö based photographer and poet Ikram Abdulkadir reflects on her relationship to the ocean, connecting the stories from her fathers childhood in Somalia to the beaches in Skåne where she brings her sisters hoping to create a memorable summer.

In connection to the exhibition in May 2021, Matilda Plöjel at Sailor Press and Puss Publication joined forcers to make a printed matter with Ikram Abdulkadirs work.
