Fanny & Peter
When interior designer Fanny Dorthé talks about the home she shares with her husband, artist Peter Schamaun, and daughter Elsi, it almost sounds like a poetic description of a family life in general. At least of what one wants a family life to be; filled with warmth - and inevitably a lot of compromises.
Åsa Jungnelius
Artist Åsa Jungnelius har been interested in how materials and spaces affect people her whole life. She spent her childhood taking things apart and putting them back together to make them feel better. Now she built her own creative universe surrounded by shades of pink, soft and fluffy things, shiny surfaces and leather, glass and wood.
Virginie & Alfonso | Paris
The hunt for a new home began for Virginie Denny and Alfonso Vallés, when the apartment in the heart of Paris became too cramped and the need for more space got too big. The same hunt that many others had done before them; the hunt for a bigger place with lots of light in a convenient location and space for a growing family, and perhaps even with a small, private garden.
Els-Marie | Stockholm
The interior design style at the home of fashion designer Els-Marie Enbuske can most easily be described as the apartment owner herself; stylish, colourful, a little cross when it comes to the concept “good taste” and enormously humorous. Or in her own words: “A mixture of worshipping the aesthetics of the Memphis group, elements of a 90’s boy´s room and a certain craze 80’ romance.”
Nina | Malmö
If aesthetics was a child, one could say that Nina Perssons made a teenage revolt. Or maybe at least gone through an easier release process. At least when it comes to your own home. When she and her family, after many years with a home base in New York, three years ago decided to return to Malmö, they were both ready for something new.
